Supportive Care Volunteer

The role will involve offering emotional and practical support, as well as companionship, to those experiencing loss. Your role is to provide a safe and compassionate space for people to navigate their loss and explore ways to reduce isolation. This can include introducing those to community groups to help build confidences.

Each St Michael's shop is one-of-a kind and offers a range of different roles. Whatever your skills and experience, there is a role for everyone within our shops. The Whitestone store is our Flagship store with multiple departments inside.

Volunteer Lottery Canvasser

We are seeking confident, motivated individuals to join as Lottery Canvassers, representing St Michael's Hospice. In this dynamic role, you'll engage with the community through door-to-door and private site canvassing, directly supporting the charity's missions across the region.

Volunteer Whitestone Cafe Assistant

Do you enjoy meeting new people or would like to gain catering experience? We are looking for volunteers to help run the popular and friendly café at our Whitestone based shop. We’re also keen to hear from Barista trained individuals to keep up with demand for our hot drinks, or if you would like to learn a new skill we can offer training.
