Laura and Zoe join our Hospice at Home team

Laura Williamson and Zoe Clough are on the road to strengthening our Hospice at Home service.

The Senior Palliative Care Support Workers are new starters with the team that delivers care in people’s homes across Herefordshire.

“I just love being at St Michael’s,” said Laura. “It’s somewhere I’ve always wanted to work, and I’m so glad I joined. Being part of the Hospice at Home team gives me the chance to spend valuable time with patients and their loved ones, which means so much to me.

“Everyone at St Michael’s is in awe of the community for its dedication to fundraising for their Hospice. We really do appreciate it.”

Zoe feels the same, and says she immediately felt at home.

“I’m really enjoying it,” said Zoe. “The role is so rewarding, and it’s just such a privilege to be welcomed into people’s homes at what can be an upsetting and worrying time.”

St Michael’s Hospice and Marie Curie partner with the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Integrated Care Board to provide the Herefordshire Hospice at Home service.
