Lottery win ‘perfect timing’ for Helen

It was a case of perfect timing for last week’s Hospice Lottery winner, Helen Maude from Hereford. Like many people, she had been worrying about the financial impact of being furloughed from work so the win couldn’t have come at a better time, having received her first payslip which was less than she’d hoped.

Helen first joined the Lottery about 4 years ago as her way of ‘giving back’ after her Mum was supported by the Hospice at Home team. She said of the win, ‘I think it’s my Mum looking out for me’.
