Teacher / Practitioner

About The Role

St Michael’s Hospice has a dynamic Education team offering a variety of internal and external training opportunities to a wide audience. They bring a wealth of experience and specialist skills, and due to a promotion are now looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Teacher Practitioner to join the team. This is an exciting role for an individual who has experience of working within Palliative Care where you can share your knowledge and skills with others. No two days are identical, with scope for the post holder to shape and develop the training activities offered in line with Hospice strategies. Where appropriate, the post holder would continue to have some clinical practice hours as part of their own CPD and wider team development. This role provides the opportunity to enhance the delivery of palliative and end of life care, promoting evidence-based practice internally and externally.

What we are looking for

If you are a motivated, enthusiastic experienced clinical practitioner, with a passion to share that knowledge and skills. This role would suit a Registered Nurse, Registered Allied Health Professional or Counsellor with previous experience in Palliative Care and a teaching environment. If you would like a role in healthcare where you are enabled to make a difference we’d love to meet you!
