Our retail volunteers assist Retail Managers with the daily running of retail shops to ensure we are able to provide the amazing care our patients and their families need.

It’s a great way to learn new skills, meet new people and support a wonderful cause.

Car Parking:

There are limited parking spaces available and a dedicated Blue Badge parking space at the front of the shop.

Accessible Toilets:

The customer toilet, located at the front of the shop is accessible for all and includes baby changing facilities.

Access:

For customers, the shop and donation centre at Ludlow Home & Living are situated across one level with no slope, steps or ramps. There is a manual front door with a walkway at the front.

Donation Centre opens Tuesday 17th February 2026.

To donate goods, please use our Donation Drop Off, the entrance to which is located on the right-hand-side of the building. Our team will be happy to assist you.

From Tuesday 17th February, the Donation Centre will be open 6-days a week, Tuesday – Saturday (9am – 5pm) and Sunday (10am – 4pm).

Free Furniture Collection:

If you have large items of furniture you would like to donate, why not use our free Furniture collection service? Through our Logistics partner, Boxmove, we can collect your pre-loved furniture or large electricals for free within a 20 mile radius of one of our Home and Living shops. Our Collections Team may ask you to send photos in advance and our expert drivers will review all items before collecting, to ensure items are saleable. Disposal of unsalable items costs St Michael’s thousands of pounds each month, so your help is hugely appreciated.

Please note, we do not provide a house clearance service and cannot offer collections for items such as clothing or small household items as it is not cost-effective for the hospice.

Ludlow Home & Living will be is open for pre-loved shopping 7-days a week. 9am – 5pm Monday to Saturday and 10am – 4pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

Donating goods? Please note that the donation centre is closed on Mondays.
